Every day, I leverage technology to eliminate the little annoyances that come with computer use. By tweaking settings, exploring new software, and automating tasks, I transform my digital routines into seamless experiences. Embracing innovative tools allows me to streamline my workflow and boost convenience, making my daily interactions with computers smoother and more enjoyable.
One of the things that annoys me the most is unreliable access to the latest information due to algorithm-driven recommendations. I'm a huge fan of RSS and have been using it for years, but I finally wanted to move on from a local machine client to a service that's accessible on multiple devices without keeping that one home computer online. Unfortunately, none of the available services provided me with the user experience I wanted, so I decided to build my own. This blog will likely focus on the adventures and challenges related to this project but won't be inherently limited to it; other topics may surface as well.
